Esohel drops a new visual called Struggle and Paing. This video and song talks about the hardships of trying to make in the Hip Hop industry. Pretty dope check it out.
‘Struggle and Pain’ incorporates the hardship and endeavors of a rapper trying to make it in the music industry while struggling to separate himself from the rest. In Esohel’s 4th video off his LP ‘Essential’ we see a young artist trying to make it on a daily grind in hopes to overcome his struggles and be able to reach his goals and become a successful artist. The videos simplicity and lyrics leaves you connected to a character that everyone can relate to.
“This song is an insight to my thoughts and questions as a rapper trying to make it in what seems to be an over saturated genre that places fluff before substance commercially. The struggle has always been to separate myself from the rest and have that be the first impression to the public. The pain portion comes after, when my voice seems to not get heard at times creating a cycle of self doubt, which usually overcomes by the need to prove that I must be out of my mind to let doubt be my downfall.” Esohel says of the song.'

GLC drops a new visual for his track Jesse Owens produced by Ty Deals off of Eternal Sunshine Of The Pimpin Mind
I used this record as an analogy for the nonbelievers & lames that dispute the honorable teachings of the ism! Jesse Owens was counted out as Adolf Hitler claimed that the black man was inferior to his Aryan ideals and so-called player prowess. They shouldn’t of let the brother compete in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany, where he achieved international fame by winning four gold medals: one each in the 100 meters, the 200 meters, the long jump, & as part of the 4×100 meter relay team. He really raised his player accolades & was the most successful athlete at the 1936 Summer Olympics. Cathedral to my mella’s Meechie Hall, Frank E Treez, Tim, Tristen, Kells, & mac mella for accompanying the lovely Ms. Kyana Miles & myself in this Ty Deals produced – Terrence Jones directed joint! ISM!

“I had no idea that Common was using the piece we had done together on [a track] in which he also used the ‘N’ word numerous times,” she said, according to the New York Post.
“I’m surprised and disappointed," she continued. "I don’t know why he chose to do that. I had never heard him use that [word] before. I admired him so because he wasn’t singing the line of least resistance.”Common, however, says that he's spoken with Angelou about his use of the word, saying that they agreed to disagree.
“I told her what ‘The Dreamer’ was about and what I wanted to get across to people,” he says. “I wanted young people to hear this and feel like they could really accomplish their dreams.”
