Rockboy k9 Kicks Off Crowdfunding Campaign

No comments:

Working toward the completion of his upcoming project "187", Rockboy K9 put together a crowd funding campaign, kicking it off yesterday December 28th. Since releasing "Motive" featuring Clark Airlines, Rockboy has decided to call on the fans to get involved to play an important role in the creation of his upcoming EP.
"The definition of a "187" is a police code used to state when a murder takes place. In today's world many often stereotype people in the urban community as murderers, thieves and as a part of "the problem." Many people in those same urban communities also see themselves as only murderers, thieves and not part of " the problem" exactly but part of a world where the stereotypes that people put on them are 100% true. This being said I am raing money to fund my "187" EP through the good folks at indie GoGo."
Get involved and see what he trying to do.

Calez "The American Dream Concept" Ep 4

No comments:

In recent, Calez popped up in an article in the Sun Times, which headlined "Leaders of Chicago’s new school, hip-hop". The article aimed to introduced leaders in the young generation of artist coming up in Chicago. Calez today releases a new episode of "The American Dream Concept" titled "Appreciating".
Marcale “Calez” Lewis, 21, one of the city’s more melodic rappers, is a fixture on the indie scene. He’s popular. So much so that he’s turned down two music deals so he could stay an independent artist. He had to, he said, because they wanted him to change his flow to something more simplistic. More drill-ish.
“People have been throwing me offers, but it’s really not about taking and running for me,” said Calez, whose song “Peaceful” pretty much sums up his spirit. “It’s really about building a foundation. They didn’t see my vision. They wanted me to do it the way they wanted to do it. But I believe in myself.” - Calez for the Suntimes newspaper
"The American Dream Concept" looks to bring you closer to and for fans to be more involved in who Calez is and his intentions in this industry. Checkout the quote below and find out how to get involved.
