Pick Three - May

No comments:

The end of the month is here and with that come the May Pick Three editorial. Today Chi-City Hip Hop brings you the end of the month segment. This is an opinion segment, where a writer picks three post, from the current month, that stood out to them or that's been added to a playlist and have it on repeat and simple stood out against others. I don't like long lists so we're just picking three, no honorable mentions, its that simple.

In no particular order, each month's post will hold three singles, sometimes all mixtapes, maybe all videos, or two singles and mixtape, etc etc. There were definitely a lot of great releases this month, making choices difficult, but I got my three what's yours.

Check it out and comment below and let me know your three.

"A little while ago I was flying home from from London after some amazing shows with DJ Vadim. When my family picked me up from the airport and slowly informed me my dad had had a stroke and was in the hospital. It was funny up until that point I never had seen my father in that light. As he started the road to recoverywe began to talk more about everything from his medication to the new music he was into now (Lianne La Havas ) . It's crazy how many pills they give you and have readily available for all that ails you. But in certain circumstances there's no medicine, no drug that can really help the situation. And in that, this song lies produced by the all live talented production duo Tensei (Plug Research). With additional buttery vocals from UK soul singer Jazz Bailley. For me I feel this is one of the best song I have ever written expressing the universal human experience in these days and times. I hope you watch and take a listen to "some music to think to" and share it" - Pugs Atomz
