Earlier this year we heard a version that only featured a verse from Sterling Hayes. Today we get a new version of "Father's Son" with a additional verse from his fellow SaveMoney brethren Joey Purp on this aggressively delivered record produced by Saint The Good Boy. Expect to hear Sterling upcoming project "BIGshorty" in the near future.

Sosa recently dropped off a new song with his homie Fredo Santana called "Beetle Juice", it's said too be a diss to "Hot N*gga" rapper Bobby Smurda. The line "You know you ain't catch no body bout a week ago" is said to be a shot at the NY rapper. But hey that's the rap game for you.

On October 7th, R&B crooner Jeremih will release his highly-anticipated album, Late Nights. Not sure if this one will be on his album but we're sure hoping that it will be. He's definitely standing strong with the modern R&B artists like Trey Songz and August Alsina.

Back in April Complex and Adult Swim team up for a mixtape that got fans of the popular series "The Boondocks" ready for it fourth and final season. One artist featured on the project, Mpulse, brought listener a song that embodied one of the wildest characters of the series "Ed Wuncler III". He explains who end he gain a spot on the mixtape and the song selection that was choose. He also gives his views on the final season of the series as well, which you can watch below.

"I'm finna blow and take this city with me", Hurt Everybody teams up with Satchel Stokes for a new track with some historical references, called "Pompeii". ZenZan and P Beezy handles the production for this auto-tune induced record as the Hurt Boys continue to prove they're some of the hardest work up and comer in Chicago.
Holding similarities to Missy Elliott's "Supa Dupa Fly", this Kaytranada produced record samples the Ann Peebles song "The Rain". Mick Jenkins brings his unique style to lace this beat for a song that we've heard him and seen him perform on stage called "Rain". This one seems to was supposed to be a track on his recent project release "The Water[s]", but for whatever reason didn't make it. But here is goes today, enjoy.
Rising rapper Johnny May Cash is gearing up for his next solo project, My Last Days. He gives us a glimpse of what's to come with his latest song "CPW" with YB. It's produced by Young Chop and features the rappers using auto-tune to give us drill joint; with cocaine, pills and weed.
Today, King Louie or 'Tony' as he likes to be called nowadays , drops off a joint with rapper M.T.G. The two rappers go over this LeekLeek production. If you haven't heard Tony yet, I suggest you check it out.

BET announced the cypher line up recently with a long list of artist set to spit. With the award show looming I guess its time to build some anticipation for the session. Two Chicago artist make the list of emcees set to show their skills. While at first glance the list doesn't standout, but it will be interesting to see what Dreezy and Vic Mensa bring to the table.
