Rockie Fresh Announces New Project. "The Night I Went To..."

You remember Rockie Fresh, the Chicago rapper that caught our attention with his mixtapes "The Otherside" with dope singles like "AC Green", his really great follow-up project "Driving 88", and then "Electric Highway". It didn't end there, he teamed up with Casey Veggies for a joint project that had no traction, and a project before that called "The Birthday Tape" which essentially felt like it was a throw away.

Rockie Fresh has been MIA for some time, showing up on different projects and dropping loose tracks with some strong verses. But now he's gearing up to drop a new project, returning front and center of MMG with a new album. He been working on it in silence and secret saying "My team and I have a "no cell phone" policy when music is being made so there aren't a lot of videos or pictures that reach the public of me being in the studio."(Billboard) There's a new trailer for the upcoming project, with footage of him and team in the studio working and traveling. The video doesn't reveal much but he's said to have been inspired by "recent personal adventures".

At the moment there's no release date so in the meantime watch the tease for "The Night I Went To...", below.
