Getting to his roots, celebrating where he grew and how its played a part in who he is, Jack Red return with "Homegrown". He sings, "I got that Chi-Town magic, south side habits", a line that represent the city that houses the man. Deeper that just where he's from, Jack Red, explains the concept of this record, in a interview with okayplayer, saying, "The concept of embracing your history and roots has inspired my philosophy of living your life from the inside out."
