One of the more storied artist, rising from the Drill factor of the Chicago music scene, Chief Keef is back with a new project. There's literally been a pause on his music release at one point, at least releases coming from him. There had been a steady leak of music, unofficial songs, and more hitting soundcloud. From a failed partnership with FilmOn to being banned from performing in his hometown, the focus for the top of 2017 will be on the music.
Keef took strides toward diversifying to place in music. Last year we were slowly seeing his name in production credits, entering the mantel of producer/rapper. With this new project he gets production credit for a total of 11 songs. Keef's production is mixture of 808s, claps, heavy bass, and of energy fill. Suprisingly the sound doesn't get redundant. Yes this is all assuming that the upload songs are correctly labeled.
If you been a fan, then this is a continuation of his method with some improvments and new tricks. He gets his usual collaborators of Young Chop, Tadoe, and Lex Luger, plus LeekeLeek. Its 17 songs of 'poin' up', car loving raps, with plenty turn up. Stream and download below.
