Rello's Creative Minds N Goals (Oct 31st)

   Chicago is full of talent and our local scene is gaining notoriety for producing great hip hop acts. I came across a young artist who goes by the name of Rello. A couple posts and conversions later I was treated to a early listen of Rello's upcoming project Creative Minds N Goals. Lets just say this could be an artist we will be buzzing about. Hit the jump for a small preview into the project.

   Rello's first time featured on Chi-City Hip Hop and my first time hearing his music was a track called Deep Cruising. This song gave off the feeling of when I'm riding around the city chillin' and thinking about one his most memorable lines "Life's a crash course I'm tryin' make it to the other side." A big favorite of mine is "Highways of Life". Maybe its the Ronald Isley sample but the melody puts you in a relax setting while Rello spits dope lyrics.

   Creative Minds N Goals shows Rello's ability to pick the right beats to match his style and gives us a smooth sound that you can kick it with your fellow smokers, friends or family, etc. Each track is different and has its own identity as he goes in over a mellow groove. Though he is a dope young freshman in the game there is much work to be done. So my advice to Rello is to keep perfecting your craft also push the limits of your rhymes.
