Lil' Herb, Chuck Inglish & Mpulse, Land Spots on "The Boondocks Mixtape"

The call for the return of the satirical cartoon based off the comic strip of the same name, The Boondocks, has been heavy and finally returns April 21st. And though the creator Aaron McGruder will not be involved this season, it still seems the people are still interested. Before the season kicks, Adult Swim and Complex will bring us a mixtape dedicated to final season of the series.

Set to be feature on this compilation are some Chicago natives who we are familiar with. Lil' Herb lands on track 13, with Odd Future's Earl Sweatshirt on a song called "Knuckle Head". Chuck Inglish, one half of The Cool Kids handles the production duties on "Fat Toney". Mpulse lands on track 18, over production from frequent collaborator Keef Boyd and Lyle LeDuff on "Ed Wuncler". We'll be able to enjoy the full project April 16th, so stay tuned.
