The Boy Illinois is gearing up to hit listeners with more and more new music. Today we get the first of the Illi flood, a short mixtape called "The Yer Tape". Some notable things have happen leading up to this release already, such as, hitting stages with Lupe Fiasco, finally dropping the video for his Twista and Trae The Truth assisted single and aligning himself with Treated Crew. This latest project release is a prelude to his upcoming album that he's working on, a filler of sort, for new and old listeners to catch up.
This release features nine tracks, some of which we've already heard like, "Winter & Construction" featuring Boss Woo, recently "Coldest Playa Eva", and "On Me". Frequent collaborator and FA The Squad member Rel Elite join in on the production as well as credits going to Von Vaui, Highly Klassified, Mistro Beatz and more.
