Griffen Co-Stars In Short Film, 'Ode To Lucille'

Emcee and now short film actor Griffen, has been artist who shows off his lyrical ability center on streets and life experiences rather than superficial words. Last year, July 2014, he delivered a album called "Ashland Chronicle 2", which continued to show why he was a rapper worth covering. This year he joins the cast of a short film created for a organization called 48 Hour Film Project, where local filmmakers create a movie in a very short time and premier for an audience.
Each year, the 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP), the world's largest timed film making competition, visits roughly 125 cities, challenging teams to complete an entire film from writing and casting to filming and editing in 48 hours. The 2015 film weekend takes place in Chicago August 14th -16th.At the conclusion of the competition weekend, submitted films will be screened for the public at the Logan Theatre, 2646 North Milwaukee Avenue
Today the short film premiers, titled "Ode To Lucille", starring Marcus D. Moore, Akilah Perry, Griffen Guantanamo, and Kimberly A Chase and written by Aloa Denise. Its a short movie with a quick release and no promo beside a few flyers. We do get a little insight with the description "Lucille Falls prey to a dark and twisted obsession and seeks revenge using an old family tradition".
