G Herbo - Bottom of the Bottom (Video)

Releasing one of the best project of 2015, Lil Herb or G Herbo, made waves with the release of "Ballin Like I'm Kobe". Largely dedicated to his fallen friend, Herb delivered to the listeners a very truthful, straightforward, street, and at times daunting experience throughout the project. Though he demonstrated in previous projects that he was more than just simply a Drill artist, this mixtape further solidified that fact.

One track featured, "Bottom of the Bottom" which is produced jjby Luca Vialli, gets G Herbo dropping bars centered on his come up. A strong comparison can be made between this and Drake's "Started From The Bottom", but less catchy and more focused on real life.

G Herbo gave us fair warning that there would be a new video dropping, and now its here. He takes his visual presence to the next level, similarly to  the "L's" video, we are presented with imagery that tells a story. In "Bottom of the Bottom", Herb raps "now the judge hang us with a 100 years, used to hangs by a tree", matching the scenes in the visual to the words, we get a stark correlation between the past(post slavery) and the present. He questions America love of the word "freedom", when many living in poverty not able to enjoy the word rapping "living ain't cheap, how the fuck is this the land of the free".
